Slumber party

Finally!! I have uploaded Jessica's slumber party pictures & created a slideshow!! Yeah!!! So here it is. Her & her friends decorated pillow cases, opened gifts, ate cake, & fell asleep watching Beverly Hills Chihuahua. It was FUN!!

A quick post

So last week we were all sick. I took Nate to DR on Thursday to have his ears looked at because he was up the night before complaining. And since we were going to Billings for the weekend to wrestle I didn't want him to be in pain. YEP he had ANOTHER ear infection. Actually, I think BOTH ears were red. Now he is on antibiotics. On our way into town I got rear ended!! Yeah!! Rear ended. Great!! I was stopped behind a car waiting to turn & he didn't see that we were stopped. The driver was a man in his work pick-up. I hit the car in front of me. There really isn't any damage to the front of my mini-van. But the rear has a cracked fender & dented trunk. My dash is lit up "rear hatch ajar".

We went to Billings anyways. The kids & I left Friday morning & came home today (Sunday) afternoon. Nathan wrestled both Saturday & Sunday. It was double elimination, meaning lose twice & your done. He won 1 & lost 1 Saturday. So we were back today. He was one place shy of "placing". He got 7th. First through 6th got medals.

While in Billings I had an insurance adjuster take a look at my van & access the damage. He cut me a check & I'll take it to the shop tomorrow here in town.

The weather/roads home weren't that great. Blizzarding, snowing, sleeting, very windy, slushy. I'm a good driver & still made it home in good time. We were glad to be home. The kids especially HAPPY to be sleeping in their OWN beds!! They were out quickly!!

Prayer Request

I don't know where I've been or how I missed her post. BUT MckMama & her MckMuffin need OUR prayers!! I've been following this AWESOME MckFamily for some time now. Her baby is in the PICU @ Children's with SVT.

More wrestling

Nathan wrestled in WP this past weekend & took 2nd!! He got 2 wins & lost his last match. He had LOTS of family/fans cheering him on, Dad, Jessica, G'pa & G'ma Romo, Auntie Ang, Ameliya, and G'ma Berta.

This coming weekend I'm gonna take him to Billings. There isn't any school on Friday so we will go down & stay in a motel with a pool. I told the kids IF they are good I will take them to Chuck E Cheese's, they've never been.

Tonight Jessica has her final Eaglette performance. She is glad that's over!!

I've been SICK

I haven't blogged about the slumber party yet because I've been sick. It first started in my chest then went to my head & settled. I got a horrible sinus infection. I went to the DR on Wednesday when I just couldn't stand it anymore. I got a shot of Rocephin in my bum. Which hurt bad!!! I had a chest x-ray, labs drawn, & an influenza test done. I'm on my way to feeling better!! YEAH!!

Jessica saw the DR the same day as me for the lousy cough she has. He gave her Augmentin. Hope it helps!!

Let me get my day started & I will post about the slumber party we had last weekend. It's hard to believe a week as already gone by. WOW time flies when your having fun.

Today we had a family get-together for Jessica's birthday but my baby girl just didn't feel well.

After this picture she opened gifts, had cake, & disappeared....I went to see where she had gone & she was sound asleep on the floor in her room. (wished I would've taken a pic)

So it's been a while...

Since I posted. Last Thursday (3/5) My mom, the kids, & I left town. We were heading down to Idaho for my Brothers wedding. Brian & Lyndsie were married March 7, 2009 @ 1 pm. On our drive down Nate started to get sick. Last time we drove there, the end of January, for my Dads wedding, January 31, 2009, Nathan got sick then too. And I took him to see the DR in that town. He was given nebulizer treatment & antibiotics. This time we pulled into town & saw that same small town DR. Nathan was running a fever but everything else looked fine. Must be something about that LONG drive & ALL through the mountains that gets him sick.

Saturday after the wedding the entire family, My Mom, My Dad & his wife Amy, My step-sister Shalae, My kids, My Dad's Friend Troy, AND later joined by My brother Brian & his new wife Lyndsie went to Lava Hot Springs. Ahhhhh......we soaked, I got a massage, & Nathan got an ear ache.

Now that we are ALL home the 3 of us have a terrible cough...cough...cough. We were already scheduled for dental appointments yesterday, Tuesday 3/10, and I was able to get Nathan in to see the DR at the clinic. Jessica has a cavity - need to schedule for a filling. Nathan has a flaming red ear - was given antibiotics.

Tomorrow My Jessica turns 6 yrs old!! Friday, March 13, she is having a slumber party!! That is going to be such FUN!!!!

My Friend's son who is Jessica & Nathan's friend remembers being outside for Jessica's birthday last year. Unfortunately today's temp is -5 but feels like -25 so kinda hard to plan for an outdoor party. Suppose to warm up by Friday to 40.

I'm going to have to get pictures from both weddings to post on here.

He took 1st Place!!

Nathan wrestled over the weekend in Glendive. Last week his weight was 39.0. This week he weighed 40.3. He pinned ALL 3 of his competitors. His matches didn't last very long (too easy). The coach told the ref after this one to let these little guys wrestle a bit longer (Let them have some fun). Nathan was SO proud. I was SO proud!! He enjoys this SO much!! Tonight (Monday) at practice he will receive a trophy for his 1st place WIN!!
